“Babywearing” is a term for carrying a baby using a sling or other aid. Babywearing aids allow a parent to carry on with activities, while safely keeping their baby near them. This can be a great asset, particularly with a “colicky” baby, or one that seems to need some extra TLC. Babies can be fed (either by breast or bottle) while in a sling, and a lot of babies like to fall asleep in a sling. As young infants can be carried in a prone, or “lying down” position, the sling does not put extra strain on their developing spine like a regular carrier, which keeps them in a sitting or upright position, can.

The ring sling is very adjustable, and can be used in different ways to carry from birth, in front, hip or back carries. Made in Australia, by Bubba Earth, with Hemp/Cotton fabric, the sling is cool enough to wear in Summer, and very soft, with enough stretch to make it comfortable, without drooping.
